The neuropathy in my hands and one arm has been off the charts awful for about a week now. It's interrupting my sleep and REALLY awful. My doctor says it's common and there's nothing to be done.

Does anyone have any good ideas or things that worked for them? I'm not able to take any Tylenol, Aleve, asprin, ibuprofen, etc right now due to it interacting with one of the anti-viral drugs I'm on, but I was wondering about maybe some of these Lidocaine gels or something topical like that?

Check to see if ginger or turmeric/curcumin will interact with your meds. They are good anti-inflammatories and may be of help. Also, lion's mane will help remyelinate the nerves, if you are experiencing demyelination (the destruction of the protective covering of the nerves).

Also, detoxing well will have an impact on how much my nerve pain impacts me. So do be sure you are detoxing well.

We have a couple of members here that use Oil of Magnesium spray and have had great success with that. I have not tried it.

I have put my symptoms in the site below for homeopathic herbs for when my hands would fall asleep at night. They would tingle and burn in the middle of the night and wake me up.

HHC, my LLMD suggested Alpha Lipoic Acid for my nerve issues. I take it by pill (others, I believe do IVs). I'm not sure it helps, but it's part of my protocol. You might want to run it by your MD.

You could also try CBD oil. It's legal hemp oil (without the THC). I use it for headaches and while it doesn't fully alleviate the pain it does dull it for me.
