I am seeing if anyone knows of legal documents that show that lyme disease can provide a false positive on Blood Alcohol Content. I know there is something out there but seeking help in finding that proof. Thank you.

I've not seen any documents about
specifically Lyme doing this, but I have seen some about
low blood sugar doing this - is that a possibility for you?

Hi TrailRunner - welcome!
I'm assuming you have Lyme disease... I haven't seen this subject addressed on the forum before...

Hi Trail Runner15!-
Welcome to our community. Are you wondering about
Auto-brewery syndrome (also known as gut fermentation syndrome)?

Well I had read that due to Lyme attacking sugar faster than the average rate, it can alter the results if one was to take a breathalyzer. So a .04 could be higher due to Lyme.
