Has anyone had problems with blocked ears or decreased hearing? I have read that it is possible to lose your hearing altogether.

I did, Patty, in the first several months of treatment. It would come & go.

hi Patty!

I also had hearing issues, but mine are more ringing and a water clogged feeling. I'm very sensitive to loud tv ..etc, high volume drive me crazy! I guess that's the opposite of hearing loss🙄

Mine is like purrsiankitty. I have weird ringing/sounds in my ears and I feel like they are clogged with water.
Purrsiankitty did that feeling go away with treatment? After how long if it did?

I definitely have ear congestion issues that come and go. I also have a "whooshing" like noise that also occurs, but rarely.

Hope you haven't lost part of your hearing!

-My first symptom was tinnitus in the left ear out of nowhere (still here 2 years later)
-Another early symptom was hyperacusis (sensitivity to sound)
-Randomly my right ear will feel really blocked and I will have somatic tinnitus (ringing temporarily gets louder upon any external noise)
-My ears/cheek area clicks
-Every now and then it will feel like air is being sucked out of my ear with additional loud ringing lasting 5-10 seconds. Very strange/scary feeling in the moment.

Thankfully I seem to be over this one, but I had several months of constantly plugged ears. I was always holding my nose closed and blowing, trying to pop them. The same feeling I get when driving up to the mountains from low elevation. And they hurt. Felt like I had been punched in the ear sometimes.

I think this may have gone hand in hand with my overall head pressure issues. And I think it may have been a Babesia symptom.

Totally "full ears" was one of my first symptoms. It felt like I had gone in an airplane. Or up in high elevation. I would try and yawn to clear them. Sometimes that worked, but no often.

It totally healed with treatment, so don't worry.

the ringing rings on, it is steady and constant. But if I don't concentrate on it too much, it's bearable and doesn't effect hearing. water feeling is gone!

I have that feeling as well. Clogged with "water", but a low-grade version. I also have ringing and now clicking. I have that thing where my hearing goes out for minute, my ears ring, and then it comes back. The clicking noise is my neck and I think the clogged feeling is lymph - there are a bunch in your head near your ears. You might want to try lymph facial massage. This might sound counter-productive, but I've had some movement and clearing with the yoga "cat pose". I started slow doing one or two, moving up to six and it seems to unblock my head a bit.
