I've needed "reading" glasses since I was 17. I have a converging issue with my eyes - they don't focus as well and work harder than they should. They work great, just harder. Despite this, I've had better than average eyesight my whole life. All of a sudden, last year my doc told me to wear my glasses full time. And now, in the last month or so, I've noticed my vision just ain't what it used to be. I no longer have that sweet spot when reading my phone. It's just gone. No sweet spot. And I can't read behind-the-counter menus with small text with or without my glasses. I have an appt. with my eye doc on Friday. I feel like perhaps muy vision is different during the day as well.
I do have central serous retinopathy in my left eye thanks to Lyme - that hasn't gone away. My retina specialist said it should fix itself. I hasn't. I figure, that's Lyme. I'm taking Leutine (sp?) to help.
My question is: Has anyone noticed their eyesight failing - but does it get better with treatment? I mean, my vision is still pretty great, but I've noticed it's harder to read my phone and see small text. It really bugs.
