Hey guys,
So here's my question. Does anyone have a link or some info on how they distinguish the differences between Lyme symptoms and the co infections. I swear all the symptom reading I'm doing just seems all the same to me for every infection. Like all cause flu like symptoms, brain fog, dizziness, joint pain, etc. are there specific symptoms that one needs to look for in order to distinguish a possible co infection they have? So confusing lol

The charts that we have in the "New to Lyme" section DO have a lot of cross overs...Other than the chance reactions in testing, and visual evidence such as any possible 'target' rash is Lyme, and 'stretch mark' looking scratches are Bart, much of what we say is from personal experience, unfortunately.

It matters if you are using abx or herbs, because herbs leave more room for experimentation and can actually benefit our immune function. However in both treatments do help knock down more than one organism. bad or good.

If some symptoms seem to fall from your list after treatment begins, often times other remaining symptoms can be clues that another organism is still there.

Did that make sense?

Bottom line, you almost have to take samples of every tissue in you, probably daily for at least 3 weeks, to know what all is going on in the absolute sense.

Many see the reasoning behind treating the whole body function first and always.

As july mentioned there is the link to the charts in the New to Lyme section. That chart is really helpful. The chart is done in an excel file like format and the chart is wider than the page. Each co repeats again so be sure to scroll down for the second set of symptoms.

For many of us co infection symptoms didn't become apparent until we were months and months into treatment. I've read that it's often difficult to get a positive Babesia test if you have Bart and haven't treated it. I never thought I had Babesia because I wasn't drenched in sweat at night. Treating Babs has made me feel SO much better.

Thanx so much for the replies. I actually tested positive for babs thru labcorp if I'm reading the results correctly. Says 1:40, negative is <1:10 (discussing this with my llmd tomorrow morning). So I assuming he's going to start treating babs if I'm reading the results right. All other results negative
