Hi,
Has anyone had their DNA done? I am curious to hear what methylation mutations you have and what your doctor has suggested for the snps. When my doctor saw my cyp and Methylation snps, she completely took me off of one antibiotic and cut the dose in half for the other two. She added more detox supplements and told me I was most likely in a constant herx. I will post my snps later today.

Hi Shellazae

Unsure what snps means but I have mutations 677 and 1298. I'm told that detox-wise it means our body's ability to detox is diminshed by a percentage depending on whether homozyg or heterozyg.

I was given an rx for methylfolate and also take shots of methyl cobal b to help the works out.

I know there are otc supplements that will help as well.

Snp means the same thing as mutation. You got hit hard on your mthfr gene. I am only heterozygous for Mthfr c677t.

I will look up my supplements tomorrow but from memory she has me taking a certain type of melatonin, chlorella, activated charcoal, alpha lipoic acid. I think there are a few others. I take 2mg of L-methylfolate, will work my way up eventually.

My homozygous mutations are:
CBS c699t
COMT
Mthfd1
Nos3
Sod2
CYP2D6
CYP2C19
CYP1B1
CTH
NAT2
And then heterozygous on a bunch of others.

naw you gotta use tiny pics or the like ,...

i do methyl b shots3x week and loads of bee pollen 4 mthfr(half the population has at least 1 snp)
iv glutithione for comt snps
asparagus or sparga for cbs mutations
and embrace my herx

btw cyancobalimin has a cyanide molecule and some people cant process hydroxylcobalimin and need methylated form of that and folate , some get jittery
