A friend of a friend said CBD oil worked for them

Joe, the problem with these infections is the fact that our own systems have to deal with getting control in their own way. Unfortunately many if not most here find out they wasted money on many things in an effort to get better.

CBD oil is one of those treatments that we get mixed results in. Some people do well with it, at least short term, others get no benefit at all.

I think it's something you want to look into what the oil actually does in us, and figure out if the action it supposedly has is going to hit your particular issues.


Compared to many other kinds of treatments, that's relatively cheap, IMO. Shoot, as little of a dose a person takes with the CBD, you'd be getting more mileage out of that than a handful of herbs of the same cost.

That being said, I would still invest in immune function support herbs along with the oil.

Now I have read about Rick Simpson oil but that is made with cannabis indica, not CBD oil. And, it is recommended for cancer on many sites.

I can safely say CBD oil has saved my life. I used it for anxiety and I started out using it every day, now it's as needed. I was having call-the-ER panic attacks. I have two kinds: One for general anxiety no THC. One with THC for pain and to help me sleep. I have random bouts of insomnia.

I don't think it cures Lyme, but it helps with the symptoms. Immensely.

It's worth a try. It can't hurt you. What I suggest is start slow. Most CBD oils are low dose CBD anyway. It's really been helpful for me. I've also gotten my step-daughter and sister on it for anxiety and they love it. We use a brand called Plus CBD - I get it at the health food store, but I think you can also find it online. The one with THC requires a medical marijuana card.

No, not a forum member. The testimonies are all on Dr. Murakami's fb page. That is where there has been a lot of information on cbd oil and lyme...including Dr. Eva Sapi's and Dr. M's research.

I'm a newbie on this forum so I'm still becoming familiar with all aspects. I wanted to chime in re: CBD oil as I just purchased CBD oil and will begin using it tonight. The manufacturer of the oil I purchased obtains organic industrial grade hemp from Germany, extracts the oil via a lab that extracts the oil using super critically CO2 extraction methods in order to get a pure product with minimal heavy metals. Organic coconut oil is used a carrier. They provide a CBD cert. of analysis from OClabs (unfamiliar w/ them). The results showed 0.03 % THC so it's non-psychoactive, no pesticides, analysis of potency (27 %), terpene levels, pesticides, residual solvent and microbiological results on their websites. the product is made in northern Arizona and the shop that sold it to me spent a lot of time explaining the owners' purpose, background, where it's made and his and customers experience. can be used topically and they sell a tincture for horses and canines. Can be used topically, I did so on my feet as I write this and my feet feel warm, less pain. The website is great and they are donating a portion of proceeds to veterans right now. This is a newer specific product called Source and the website is very informative. I'll start the regime tonight and should have an idea of success to report in two weeks...crossing fingers for some/ANY pain relief. Good luck all.
My ex-father-in-law uses a different brand for the past year for COPD. I guess he's now able to walk around without his oxygen. Spoke w/ him via Skype and he clearly improved. I'm Hopeful....

Thank you for sharing your experience with CBD oil. I had tried the oral concentrated paste and it didn't help me...and it was really hard on my throat.
Now that I see you are going to use it topically...I'm thinking that might work for my nerve pain...
Maybe I will purchase some more and give it a try.
