Hello everyone,
I have been on this forum for some time. I started getting symptoms last september amd since then i have had antibiotics. I still have symptoms so I set out on a journey through research to find answers.
The good news is that I have contacted some universites and have obtained a new substance that may help with fighting lyme bacteria when combined with antibiotics. I am ready to start the treatment but I am having trouble getting into a doctor. I live in the pittsburgh area and have already contacted the doctors recommended by the ILDAS and there is a wait of 6 months.
If you know of a doctor or could help me in my journey please respond or feel free to message me and hopefully I will be able to start this new treatment shortly.
Thank you

This will serve to bump your question to the top. I just want to recommend that you get yourself on the patient list of someone and let you know you can call every week or so to ask if there have been any cancellations that you can slide into.
That often works well, because all the good LLMD's have waiting lists. There is just not enough of them to go around.

MAF249 - have you emailed me for a list of LLMD's in your area before? Just wondering if there are more options for you.

I will email you. The ILDAS only had 2 options.

Okay - I'll check my emails in a bit...I don't know off-hand if I have anymore options...but hopefully I do.

When I am done with this I will report back to everyone on the results and how they could possibly obtain the substance if it works.
If anyone has any information on how I could get antibiotics without seeing a doctor please let me know.
