Planning a trip to West Coast - seeking an LLMD

Hi everyone

I've already mentioned I live in the Middle East and there are no LLMD's here although my doc has tried her best. She's pretty much done with me now I've finished my course of antibiotics and I'm struggling to find anyone that can help me with the herbal protocol.

So, I'll be travelling to the US either at the end of August or the end of November to seek a second opinion, and I'd like your LLMD recommendations please. I'll be in LA, but I'm happy to travel for a really good doc.

If I had the funds, I'd go see Dr. Jemsek in Washington D.C.

But, you mentioned herbal protocol....you may be interested in a LLND or an herbalist instead?

Thanks Girlie, Dr Jemsek would be amazing, unfortunately for this trip I'll be on the West coast.

I'd prefer to start with an LLMD so they can do a review of my case just in case anything's been missed or could have been done differently. Once that's done I'd be happy to see a herbalist and maybe the LLMD could refer me on to one that's happy to work with me remotely. But definitely an LLMD for me in the first instance.

EDIT: my US geography is so poor, excuse me! I just saw that Washington is a 5 hour flight from LA, so that could be a possibility, thank you! Other more local options still welcome, thanks everyone.

In California there are many wonderful LLMDs.

Nearby to San Francisco, CA has many LLMDs and our member jrpsf will hopefully be around soon and she can give you some great names of doctors.

I just got a list of names from Global Lyme Alliance and I will email it to you. It has names for Los Angeles, Ca on it also.

I think you'll have better luck trying for a first appointment in November. Most if not all of the highest regarded practices are running months out for the much longer first appointment.

I believe you can get in to Dr. J within a month's time.

But, quite a distance to travel.
