flashing semi circular zigzag vision

I woke up today and have blind spots in my vision. I can barely read words on my screen some letters just don't show up. There's a flashing zigzaggy oval shaped thing in my vision that keeps blinking.
Any one have any ideas? I feel like I"m losing my mind.

I've had some weird visual sx but not sure it's what you're getting. I've had blurry spots/floaters and trouble focusing and reading issues that I think were more neuro than visual. And often felt like I was losing my mind. I think that's a given for most of us.

lymehater vision problems are common with lyme.

The first thing most of us did was see our eye doctor to rule out other stuff. Then we chalked it all up to lyme. I hated the vision problems because I love to take photographs. All through lyme treatment I had to rely on Auto on my cameras. I did not trust my eyes.

Good news -- treatment and they do get better!

Bump.

I just experienced the same thing (the zig zag lines and visual disturbances) for the second time now in 4 months. They don't occur often but kind of scary when it happens... I'm curious how many other people with lyme and co-infections have ocular migraines?

I have had them a few times. I recently got just a bright spot no moving zig zag. Mine went away in about 20 mins.
