Trying to understand how best to use forum

So I'm new to this forum ( & forums in general). I did read the "new to Lyme" & "forum rules" info, both of which were helpful- but still wondering ....

Sometimes in searching on forum I find a topic of interest but its on a very old thread. I am unsure of the proper way to bring this topic into current conversation... Do I just add to the old thread? Or begin a new one?

Welcome!

You're asking a great question. You can join an old conversation if you want and post a comment to it. The chances that anyone in that conversation still being around are slim, depending on how old it is. Many people get well and get back to their busy lives!

Or, you can start a new conversation and include a link to the old conversation you found.
