Hi all,
I've been eating kimchi on and off and I find that it helps with my symptoms, specially muscle/tendon/joint pain.
The interesting situation is that I can only consume this once every 5 or 7 days and in very small amounts, such as a small cabbage piece of the size of a fingernail.
What usually happens is that the next days after consuming that microdose, I get an aggressive dermatitis, dark circles under my eyes, fatigue, brainfog and even sometimes worse tendon pains (this last symptom if the bottle of kimchi is new). I do enjoy though a pleasurable and pronounced relaxation I get from it.
I stopped eating Kimchi around 2 months ago when I got a new bottle and started feeling weird sudden tendon pains around my body. Paradoxically enough when I stop eating kimchi my symptoms start getting worse again, and I'm currently in that point where I'm questioning if I should go for it again or not, specially since 2 months ago is also the same time when I started my treatment for Lyme for the first time (Dr. Zhang's herbal protocol).
Is this hypersensitivity normal? Does it make sense that a small dose and one that is distanced from each other this way being effective? (mind you that even 1 drop of kimchi juice affects me in the positive and negative ways that I explained above)
P.S: I've been reading this forum for some months now. Glad and relieved to see so many knowledgeable users.
