Second Lyme test (first was the crappy one) wb w bands came back negative doc said and bart neg too. She did say other testes indicated inflammation and looking like mold illness. The main mold test takes a month so have another 2 weeks to wait on that.
I'm really confused because she said with my innate immune system dysregulation not clearing out biotoxins that she needs to check for inherited genes that code for 'first responders' which she thinks is my problem. I'm so lost and wondered if any of yal know what this means? It will be another 2 or 3 weeks before I go back to see her. I kinda thought she was just taking precautions and checking for mold to ensure I'd be able to fully recover from the bart/Lyme.. but now it seems she's thinking this is my main problem.

What lab did this testing 1st and 2nd time?

Sweet life - remind me - what is your history?

Did you have a known tick bite...an EM rash...?

Did you do an Igenex Western Blot?

Labcorp for first and Solstas second - Wb with bands. My case was a bit different in the regard that I only had one symptom the first 7 months, which was bug crawling feeling on my face. This started at the same time I started working in a new house. When other symptoms did start they were all same as Lyme symptoms. I never saw a tick on me but my sister remembers a fifty cent piece sized mark on me and I removed numerous ticks off my dogs. I've always had big reactions to any type of bites (flies,mosquitoes) and develop welts quite easily so I just didn't really pay any attention. I got bee stung yesterday and it's still the size of a tennis ball.

I also have many allergies with several diff types of mold being at the top. I used to take shots for them but now do the sublingual drops - I somehow thought this would take care of this problem. I didn't realize how similar Lyme and mold symptoms were until now. This past year has been such a journey of twists and turns that I'm not sure of anything anymore. What the doc is saying now about first responders and such is just throwing me for a loop.. I really thought I had finally found my answer and now boom - here we go again.

Doc has put me on cholestyramine and I'm just going to take a day at a time. If my problem IS strictly mold then I guess my path will be different than your alls, but I want to say a very heartfelt thank you to every one of you on here and god bless 🙏🏻❤️

On either of your lyme tests - did you have any positive lyme specific bands?

Idk and I made the mistake of not asking to have my results mailed to me - but I'm going to when I travel back over there and can sign for them. I'll post them on here when I do. Thnx again girlie .. because of you I found a really great doc 😊

And, do post your results - positive lyme specific bands are significant in diagnosing lyme.

For Labcorp you can just create an account online and see all your lab results.
