Now I don't think you should be doing antibiotics and probiotics at the same time of night. It seems counterproductive. But I so suck at antibiotics. I could be wrong.
Whenever I had a weird thing happen after starting something new. I halted all progress and let myself get used to it. Then I slowly proceeded again.
Cryptolepis is a heavy duty herb. Maybe do more immune boosting before you do the "killing." I believe that this is what most docs like. First get the immune system working to take over and you don't need the killing.
Treating lyme is not necessarily a killing game. It is a getting all systems to handle the overload of microbes. Strengthening the body to keep all the symptoms at bay. I don't believe you can kill lyme. I think once it gets in you, it can go deep. You can help keep the balance in your body with making sure all systems are healthy.
Lyme is not like a bacteria that you take medicine and it goes away. It is the weirdest bacteria I have ever seen. Why does it not appear in some for years? Then all of a sudden they have symptoms? Why do people relapse when they have not been bitten by another tick?
I would go for better diet, lots of water to flush out the toxins you are killing (not just lyme, all the toxins we are exposed to daily). And are you doing Cat's Claw? How about
a mushroom complex, one with Cordyceps in it or at least cordyceps alone.
As for the tummy - Pacific brand organic bone broth is so convenient. That is an awesome healer for the gut. We have to get the gut healthy because our immune system is highly located there.
So when a tummy problem comes about
, you know your immune system is compromised and in need of help.
Nic, I am just guessing. I'm not a doctor. This disease is hard to give advice to someone in type, especially since I don't know your environment, eating habits, sleep patterns, etc.
I hope you glean something from this.. maybe one thing will be the answer. I did the same thing when I was new. Holy moley did I search for answers.
I finally settled on Buhner and decided it was going to be my priority and I would stick to it to the letter. If I was going to try something I was
not going to pick and choose parts. I was going with the protocol as it was intended.
I did find herbs that I could not take, but I stuck with the protocol. I did not jump around. I decided to give it at least 6 months. I read that was a reasonable amount of time to see if I progressed. And then there was no stopping me. I stuck to it and at the 6 month mark I was way down on my symptoms, so I carried on.
