A neighbor had an essential oil party a few weeks ago, and the rep brought a book which included a protocol for lyme. I don't recall the name of the book, but if I can get it I'll come back and edit this post. Also, the rep was from Do Terra (I'm not a rep, but knowing that will help you look up some of their blends).
I like oils. Peppermint helps my headaches and congestion. Drops of lavender in my bath helps my sore muscles. I don't know if this protocol works, but I do think some of the oils are beneficial so thought I'd share.
Lyme Disease
Oils: Frankincense, Lemongrass, Oregano
Blends/Products: Basic Nutritional Supplements, GI Cleansing Formula/Probiotic Defense Formula, Protective Blend
Antibiotic protocol: 12 drops Protective Blend, 6 drops Oregano, 2 drops Frankincense in capsule. One capsule daily for 14 days, rest 14 days, repeat. During 14 rest days apply 2 drops Lemongrass, 1 drop Oregano on each foot before bedtime. Be aware of possible Herxheimer reaction, if rash or other symptoms reduce daily amounts.
GI Cleansing Formula cleanse: 15 day GI Cleansing Formula/Probiotic Defense Forumla procedure, repeat monthly for 3 months, rest 1 month and repeat. (see Detoxification) [which I didn't copy - argh]
Supplements: Basic Nutritional Supplements, double the omega fatty acids supplement amount, can be taken concurrent with antibiotic protocol and cleanses.
Pain: Consider the Massage Blend Technique periodically.
Three stages of Lyme disease:
Initial infectious stage: antibiotic protocol above.
If initial phase untreated and later diagnosed: antibiotic procol, 14 day rest, GI Cleansing Formula cleanse, repeat sequence if necessary.
Post - Lyme disease syndrome (infection arrested but symptoms continue): antibiotics and cleanses may not be necessary but Candida prevention should be considered and address symptoms. [may have missed some words from that last sentence]
Other oils: Cassia, Cinnamon Bark, Lavender
Other Blends: Cleansing, [page cutoff - sorry!]
I would like to buy this book, so I will definitely update the post if I can find it.
