Its time we asked why are antihelmintics (anti parasitical drugs), so difficult to get doctors to prescribe ?

Why are these meds kept out of the hands of the public for reasons of politics? Is it to keep us repeat customers?

I think it comes down to ignorance for better or worse. The parasite thing can be pretty unbelievable for doctors who are ignorant about it and the higher up medical system seems to ignore it or view it as delusional.

For whatever reason the field of parasitology lagged behind in the United States and has never recovered.

A parasitologist in NYC told me there used to be a parasitology center in the city that eventually got overrun by cancer centers since they were a much bigger field. It's sad for those of us left sick with this stuff. I can only imagine the progress there could be if US health departments didn't turn a blind eye to the magnitude of the issue.

It's not only the States. Here in Europe too.

The problem is our pharmaceutical corporate based 'scientific' medicine, whose aims are profit and protecting medical rights and pharma rights against patients.

The trio MDs + pharma + insurance business is badly steered, and this trio does not aim health of patients, but on the contrary, it aims a sort of self sustaining business and state of affairs.

95% ++ of medical community supports that trio above.
They feel pretty comfortable behind high incomes and society protection.

We, patients, still believe our health is in THEIR hands, and react little against them too, for fear they may give us up and let us die.

In fact, they are quite responsible for many of us to suffer, and die, even.

Ignoring parasites, Morgellons, is like ignoring infections.

It's not accidental.

If you read history of alternative treatments, proposed by MDs and scientists in the past, how they were persecuted and killed SYSTEMATICALLY, well, you have little doubt that there are too many interests behind to support the evil trio.

It's not 'ignoring' but even, going against such treatments.

I gave most MDs up and Pharma. I can't give up insurance, because it's obligatory here.

At least, for chronic diseases, I'd rather put my hope on something more positive.

I think Mercola is right: 'take your health in your hands' is what most of us with chronic lyme already do, for lack of alternative, right?

soon it will be death of homeopathy. 250 years of history will be thrown in the garbage.

No one is talking about that, but the laws are changing here in Europe, slowly but surely, lobbies are stalking homeopathy with the clear aim to kill it. Slowly but surely, every year, we patients have less remedies, less chances to import homeopathy or export these.

Germany will be the first to fall, then all other EU countries. It's a time bomb.
