Thanks for sharing your story WalkingbyFaith ! Glad you're finally on the right track & even had a few good days in a row! Hearing your experience helped reconfirm my intuition about
antibiotics vs. herbs. Both you & Traveler mentioned Buhners ;I do have his first book around here somewhere ( I got it when my dog had Lyme but didn't end up using the protocol on her/ wasn't sure it was dog safe) maybe I'll reread it & give it a try. I too am very sensitive & need to work up slowly... it's taken me a couple months to get up to 5 drops each of Samento & Oregano oil...
Traveler, i was rereading everyone's replies today ( my brain was somewhat fried when I read them last night ) & was given hope by your experience w/ your husband & herbs & the way he's come to fully support you...& also by how quickly you were able to heal once you got the right treatment for you! I wish I could find a tcm practitioner to help me, but I haven't been able to find one near me ( that seems knowledgeable in Lyme or that I felt confidant about
.) When I first found out I had Lyme, tcm was the way I wanted to go. As I mentioned, I had a dog w/ chronic Lyme & I took her to 4 vets before finding one who did tcm- it only took a few months for her to be totally healed once acupuncture & Chinese herbs were added. Wish I could just take myself to the vet- haha... Anyway, I did look up the list of herbs you used in your chronic tonic, but as pathetic as this sounds, I got kind of overwhelmed thinking about
ordering ALL those ingredients !
goshawk, thank you for your words of encouragement & support & also making me feel like going to this llmd might have some benefits even if I don't want to take the antibiotic route.
Thanks again everybody!
