Switching up meds for Babesia to go with Mepron

What an overwhelming smorgasbord of drugs we live with!

I think we both started mepron around the same time. I was taking it with azithromycin, but then switched to biaxin.

And clindamycin, which just switched to minocycline

All the while also taking plaquenil, and pulsing alinia.

I did have a few weeks where I started feeling some noticeable improvements. Then we switched up the protocol, and the long strange herxing has begun again...

Girlie, when I started malarone at the end of January, I was supposed to take it with azithromycin and ceftin. My doctor had me hold off because I was struggling with malarone and zith. My doctor likes ceftin for lyme.

Never took the ceftin because we think bart may have come out so I am on doxy, bactrim, and pulsing between malarone and coartem. To scared to start tinidazole. I stopped azithromycin and artemisia mainly because of the coartem.

Yep. Currently on: mepron, biaxin, minocycline,plaquenil, and pulsed alinia.

Haven't been on flagle since last February, red flagged for liver enzymes, so no more flagle for me.

I'm not sure about my doctors plan for cysts. At this point I am tired of the research and trying to figure it all out. I am trying to just trust my doctor, and do what she thinks is best.

It really is a frustrating feeling to start losing progress, then look back trying to figure it out, and feel like there is no pattern to see or understanding to be had.

We just keep moving the best we can. And try to keep the hope alive.
