Antibacterial Herb Question

I just took all my herbs and I noticed there was a mild burning sensation in my mouth. Very similar to a mild burn that mouthwash would give someone.

Is the antibacterial herbs behaving similar to antibacterial/septic mouth wash would behave, with a light burning?

Have you added a new one I noticed some are stronger or more bitter than others.

My herbal tincture mix when I take it is kinda burning like if you took a shot of liquor.
