I've been having a blurry right eye ever since 2015 when my symptoms started. I've been to the opthomalogist and they checked my optic nerve and that looks fine, my only diagnosis for my blurry eye is 'dry eye'. No amount of eye drops seems to help my blurriness!

I used to have dry eyes prior to Lyme disease.

The drops I used were Genteal. I used them just before I went to bed...and then again in the morning.

I was recommended another type - that had a higher viscosity and it didn't work at all...it made my eyes blurry.

Have you tried different brands/types of eye drops?

Yes, I've tried different drops, in fact the doctor also put in a little tear duct to help my tears but it didn't make a difference with my blurry vision. The crazy thing is when I have a flare that eye gets extra blurry!!

So even right after the drops are put in, your eyes are still blurry?

I had this prior to lyme, but once I started treatment it went away.

I've been doing treatment for a year and it's not better at all! But neither are a lot of my other symptoms!

Buhner recommends stephania for eye symptoms both orally and as an eyewash. I have no experience using it but others may have. Search on stephania and see if there are any threads on it.
