Can we put a Dx on these symptoms?

Please- this is driving me coocoo. I'm going to as descriptive as possible with what's going on. Once every other week(ish) I get these headaches where it feels like my head is in a vice. My neck stiffens up, and I feel a lot of pressure in my head. Temple area and sinus. (I do suffer from allergies also) it's horrible. Pain is worse on day 1..usually subsides by day 3.
My question is with all of your experience so you think think this is boreilla? A co,which one? Or allergies?

When I massage my nasal passages- boom face pain goes away. Until I stop of course. If I press on the back of my neck-same pain goes away until I release.

What is DMSO?

Ashleyann, I also pre-lyme suffered with allergies and it was common for me to get a sinus infection if I did not tend to it right away.

I "think" the reason for my horrible head pain and sinus type feelings after I got lyme are because lyme loves past injuries or weak spots.

It has been my experience that my osteoarthritic knees were really hurting from lyme. My experience with sinus problems was affected by lyme. I had a broken tibia and that became a sore spot.

Lyme loves weak or injured places. It seems to be able to reside there more noticeably than in healthy places for some reason.

Just my opinion.

Always informative peteza. I did have allergy issues pre-Lyme also. What you are saying totally makes sense. I have a Ct scan of my sinuses scheduled for Monday, just to be sure.

I'd love more opinions or to hear from sho else has dealt with this?

I just spoke to the nurse at my LLND. She said it could be die off. Hmmmm no bc I had headaches like this prior to my Lyme treatment. I'm frustrated. I feel like head pressure like this should not be played with..air on the side of caution. I feel like an MRI should be ordered to be sure.

I had a lot of head pressure, neck pain, sinus pressure and jaw pain. Mine is bartonella. It has lessened significantly as I've treated.

I tested positive for bart through DNA Connexion.

My head pain was horrendous. I had pre-lyme headaches. I know a hangover. I know migraines very well. When I went to the doctor (I had lyme then) I said "something is wrong! This head pain is not like I have ever had before."

He ordered a CT scan. It was negative but I did have white lesions. I knew then it was lyme.

The CT scan of the brain is pretty simple. I am extremely claustrophobic and there is no way I could do a brain MRI. That football helmet and the restriction and no room and your breath bounces off the ceiling of the machine - nope! Knock me out if you want a brain MRI of me.

Football helmet? I never had anything on my head during my mri's. I wonder if that is something new?
