Here is the deal on Yasko. She is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to biological pathways and cellular functioning. She has very good products and they can be very beneficial. But there is one problem for us. We have underlying causes for our issues that are in addition to our genetic issues. She is great with genetic issues but she is only a PhD and not a MD. She doesn't do Lyme or any other co-infections. Unless we can decrease our pathogen load, many of her products will help but we're just spinning our wheels. As soon as we stop, our problems return. I have learned a lot from her and Ben Lynch as well. They were the foundation for my recent education on gene issues and cellular biology. I have a full set of her DVD's around here somewhere and that takes a lot of time just to get through them. When taking notes, it takes forever. I've corresponded with her, Ben, Dr Alan MacDonald, Dr Jernigan, and several other prominent people in the health field. They have all helped me in some way. I have said it before and I will say it again, Amy Yasko's book Autism: Pathways to Recovery is the single best read I've ever found for helping people get better. If you change the theme from Autism to Infectious Disease, everything still applies. It is technical and not for everyone, but I have it printed and I've read it twice.
I wish you and I could swap brains for a few days. Good for me, maybe not so great for you.
