Silly question but... Is the MELISA test the same as ELISA test

Or are they different? My doc wants me to take a test and I just checked the paperwork and it says MELISA

Well, thanks for letting me know - I never thought about iron and doxy.

I have an iron supplement that I was thinking I should start taking again...but will wait until i'm off the doxy.

I guess I can attribute my low ferritin coupled with high RDW to die-off of Babesia?
Since the RDW didn't rise until I started the full-on babs treatment with Mepron.
