Anybody been through mold remediation?

What was your experience?

Did it make it better or worse?

Did you have a special protocol for sensitive people or just standard remediation?

do you have an industrial quality ozone machine?

if so run that immediately after remediation with house sealed up. if not, get one. there are inexpensive high quality machines on ebay

90% of the mold remediation business is a giant scam. they charge you thousands to "test" and when they find stuff (and they always do) they then want to charge you tons of money to remediate.

find an industrial hygenist either on staff at a mold testing firm or independent contractor. these guys have masters level education and know the molds that can cause human suffering and what quantities qualify as something to remediate.

i spent $6000 on testing and i could've spent about $700 to get the same information from a qualified professional.
