I called the company before using some a-Bart that I'd had a long time. I was told the batch number was still ok.

Since it was a while back that I'd used it I don't remember what it looks like in glass after taking. ie
the residue.

It seems to coat the glass with a brown film.

I can't remember if that's the way it was when new.

I'm not concerned about it being safe--just maybe more concentrated. I'm having major reaction on just half a drop

Can someone tell me if there's that coating on glass when new and fresh?

I think maybe you need to shake it up? I do not have a coating on mine

Several of my herbs coat the glass like that. A-bart has a very high concentration of herbs - I could not tolerate it. If you can't tolerate it - try a less concentrated product like MC-Bar from Beyond Balance, which is noted to have 1/10th of the concentration.

I hadn't heard of the Beyond Balance product, but I'll check into it. It is strong.

Funny thing, when I brought it to a new naturopath way back the receptionist googled ingredients and told me it's not strong. I felt like reporting her to her boss, the naturopath, because she thought she was so smart when she told me that!

And I shook the bottle now. That might be it! I only did it back when I started using again.

I know the bottle says shake vigorously before use and that the dropper can clog, so I think its just the viscosity of the tincture.

My LLMD said he's seen this knock out Bartonella, so let hope it helps us all. I know I've noticed improvements since starting in in late September.

Usually I'll get a string of 10-14 days nearly symptom free, then 7 or so with symptoms. Before ABART I wouldn't get more than 2 or 3 decent days in a row, typically.

Of course, every long stretch of feeling better I think, "Hey, maybe this is going away!" Then I'm "gently" reminded it's still there.

yes certain herbs will stain the bottle and dropper. FWIW A-BAB and A-BART did nothing for me even at 2 droppers full per dose. And yes I have both Babs and Bart. Goes to show mileage varies per individual.
