LilaJ - In the meantime, can anyone give you neck/shoulder massages. Most likely your upper shoulders and upper back are tight with the neck- its all connected. All this can cause severe tension headaches, feeling like your muscles are pulling down on the back of your head..
I you are alone, laying on the floor moving over a golf ball or lager lacross ball and statically holding position over tight areas on the upper back / shoulders can "melt" them away, but it takes time. It works by improving circulation once you lift off the golf ball - by the void/impression that was temporarily created refilling with new blood/nutrients.. Tennis balls are too soft and wont make an impression in your muscle. This is more effective the further you get into treatment, but its still worth while. Called trigger point release and its on you tube.
