Please help how to deal with Babesia..... Lyme Literate doctors In Portland Oregon area?

I recently received my DNA connexion results showing positive for Babesia divergens-NPS and Babesia duncan. Is this Lyme or Babesiosis? My Labcorp result showed IgM P23 and IgM P41 present. All IgG were absent. I also have SIBO. My main symptoms are weakness, eye pain, dry eyes, slight knee pain and mild headache but I do not have super severe symptoms for Babesia as I read online they are very severe. I am very confused about my diagnosis. My Doctor thinks I have Lyme and Babesia is a co-infection but DNA connexion report does not show Borrelia burgdorferi F7 positive. I am also looking for Lyme Literate MD doctors In Portland Oregon area. Please help!

Hi Simran and welcome to our forum,

Sorry about the Babesia and I will let other more experienced members comment on the band 23 and 41. Except to say that I have Lyme and co infections and only had band 41 positive when tested. I have been clinically diagnosed by symptoms and exposure.

Thank you goshawk for your reply! I am seriously hoping to get better soon but for that I need correct diagnosis and doctor which seems very hard these days specially when You have Lyme. I heard, no lab test report is 100% accurate when it comes to Lyme so mostly people go by symptoms. My symptoms also do not say that I have Babesia but I will go according to results now. Hoping to get good Doctors who can correctly diagnose my disease. I am very upset since I got my results back...sad

Hang in there I know we have other members from Oregon on here and they maybe have good recommendations for llmds.

Dna connections is known to be a good lab for testing, others here have used them also.

Feel free to ask questions here and we have very compassionate and caring members who are very supportive when we need them.
