Hi all so after finding an em rash I took doxy for 2.5 months and recently switched to herbs as I was symptom free for a good few weeks, I was dry brushing this morning and see this on my thigh, is it from the dry brushing I was pretty aggressive with it or is another em rash?
How do I add a pic?

Hey Szabo -
This is what Traveler said in a previous post about
how to photo share:
"You can post a picture by using the "buttons" that are above the posting window when you use the "Post Reply" button below. The 'button' that you want to use is the one marked "IMG" and then click on that button after you have listed the picture.
Or, you can just post a link to photo bucket or other photo sharing site."
Warmly -

Hi Szabo246 -
I'm not sure what that mottled-like area is but I have one on my calf - showed up when I started treating and changes shape a bit, fades in and out. Not sure what it is. But with "aggressive" dry brushing, it's likely a type of bruise.
You should never be aggressive with dry brushing - you should always use the right kind of brush for dry brushing and be pretty gentle and always brush toward the heart. Keep an eye on it and be gentler to yourself. ;)

Thanks Pirouette for responding, yeah I also sleep with a hot water bottle and it looks a lot like a heat induced rash called Erythema Ab Igne, google it, is that what yours looks like?
Don’t think it’s an em rash to be honest now I’ve looked it up I think I just panic at every little thing that happens to me!

I had a similar problem. I think I was dry brushing too aggressively and then would take an epsom salt bath. My skin would have some sort of allergic reaction to the salt because of the dry brushing.

When you look at the mottling photo does it resemble a honeycomb type of pattern?
If so it could Bartonella. I have read that some people get that type of skin manifestation.
I personally had it on the inside of my leg near side of knee. But honeycomb was a bit more pronounced.
Some get a chicken wire kinda look on skin too.

Which herbs would cover me for bartonella? I am only taking Cats claw and Japanese knotsweed at the moment.

It could resemble a honeycomb although more circular, I thought it may have been from sleeping with my hot water bottle between my knees, happy to add in a herb for Bart though can’t do any harm I guess!
