Made this post since there are a few here with TMJ issues.
Now and then I kind of "preach" about
how the facsia connects all the muscles together. Chronicaly tight muscles can/will pull on adjacent muscles through the fascia "netting" layer just under the skin, which covers and connects them together. The thin white tough stuff under chicken skin is the fascia.

My dentist has seen this too with patients fixing TMJ, then sometimes their whole body follows.
