Worried bacteria will be replicating at a rate faster than the herbs can manage

Does this make sense or have I got it all wrong? I’ve cut down on my herbs as I believe I was having side effects, but now I’m worried as I’m taking such a low dose the bacteria will be replicating at such a rate that I’m always going to be a few steps behind.

... is this right?

That's very unlikely, spirochetes take about a month to reproduce.

On the other hand, depending on how much you cut down, it might not be enough to kill them.

Maybe you can post the dosages here?

Hi limesick I was taking cats claw and jk 15 drops twice a day, but was causing dizziness so have cut it back to 5 drops of jk, I’ve stopped at cats claw for 5 days as I believe it was giving me joint pain, I’m also taking 2 pills of andrographis (400mg) one in morning one in eve.

That’s 5 drops of jk twice a day I do intend to increase it but need to take it slowly

The Lyme replicates every 3-4 weeks, but the bartonella and babesis is quicker (apparently) - I think they're days not weeks. (4-5 days for bart I've read?)

Szabo - If it's causing a herx...then you're 'killing' the bacteria.

Have you thought about taking it 3 X daily instead of 2? Maybe you could tolerate the 30 drops daily taking it 10 drops 3 X day?

I've read a few times that more often during the day is better.

Just slowly raise it - you'll get to the higher dosage in time.

If it’s a herx yes, I was under the impression the herb just didn’t suit my system and was just a side effect as opposed to a herx, but I suppose it could be, actually it would make sense as my dizziness came after taking the herbs for about 3 and a half weeks... now that’s reassuring.

Is my andrographis dose ok? I’m a bit scared of taking more after some of the things I’ve read

I will try the jk 3 times a day.

It's probably a herx. The andrographis dosage is ok unless it's causing a rash or hives.

I take way above the suggested andrographis dosage and I'm ok. In fact I took 8x 400mg this morning as an experiment and didn't notice much. Hope that helps. Try not to worry too much, you are on the right path.

Thank you, I’m not working at the moment and despite having a little one seem to have too much time to overthink and panic.

Thanks for the reassurance both.

I will continue with the herbs and increase as I can. It’s so hard dealing with something that involves being a detective all day every day.
