New years resolutions are generally not so complicated surface material, not a whole lot at stake. Not really that difficult. Not compared to chronic illness lacking a concrete direction.
I once read post that said maybe lymies were sick because they can do it. I personally know people that probably couldn't do this, sounds kinda shallow, but its not far off.
Whenever I read some of the newbies posts who are lost in this shuffle, with their world pretty much falling apart it brings back memories. Memories of wondering what to do when the regular health professionals dropped you like a hot potato, or said it was in your head.
One sat morning in spring of 2008, I awoke with my eyes
open, to a world of 80-90% darkness. At that point, I wasn't sure how much time I had left on this planet. In my eyes, the sun that morning resembled a full moon.
This seemed like the tipping point, after years of worsening body buzzing, night sweats, insomnia, lethargicness, GERD, MS rigidity, wacky thyroid and adrenals, pre-diabetes..... usual lyme stuff.
All I had to keep me going was nature and music. Sometimes, people do not, or will not understand. It was hard to venture into nature even with a cozy, rocky brook 500ft from my front door, so it came down to music, which never let me down. And my ears still worked besides the tinnitus and ear beat sounds.
I just heard a mellow, previously unreleased song by RadioHead first time yesterday on our local "underground" station which plays whatever they feel like, which was part of the inspiration behind this post.
