Yes, I did it for two months until my thrombocytes went down and then my LLMD switched Azithro to Amoxicillin. Now I am on Mino, Rifampin and Amoxi. I have tolerated both combinations very well (I was very scared!) and I have to acknowledge a significant improvement in a number of symptoms. Now I guess I am bit stuck but I think this is also normal. By the way, tomorrow I have an appointment with my doctor.

My LLMD said azithromycin and rifampin aren't good to take together because they interfere with each other.

I tried minocycline with rifampin. It seemed to be working for the lyme, but my bartonella symptoms didn't really improve. My stomach couldn't handle all the antibiotics, so I had to stop after a few months.

I also tried doxy and azithromycin, which was about the same. I think mino is better than doxy, but that's just my opinion.

I haven't heard Azithromycin and Riffy aren't good together.

I put them in the Drug Interaction Report and nothing showed up.

LLMD MR (has the TreatLyme online book) has them paired together.
