Two negative C6 Peptide Tests

Everyone, here is a timeline (all 2017) for evaluation and feedback if you have time.

June 16: Zero hand arthritis or nodules. (By chance I had worked with an older gentleman on a project who had arthritis. I looked at his hands, and, then, actually looked at mine. No nodules, no pain in mine. His looked pretty bad.

June 24th: bitten by a Nymph tick in private area between legs. I think it was on me less than 10hr but not sure.

June 29th: Chest and abdomen show about 5 large, what appeared to be, horsefly bites. These were very itchy. At the same time, on each wrist, a bubbly, blister like entity appeared. Very itchy. Left minor scar after going away. Both the chest and abdomen took an entire month to fade. I don't remember being bitten five times by horseflys, but, at the time I did not associate the chest "bites/rash" with the tick bite or the wrist rash.

July 25th. A weird nodule pops up on the far knuckle on my left index finger. I learn later this is some kind of cyst associated with fluid emanting from the joint.

Aug 10th. Base knuckle on my left hand begins to hurt. Now, I finally go to the Doc. I mention the tick. He gave me a single two pill dose of doxycycline that I learn later is really meant to be given within a few days of the tick bite. Indicates the hand pain is unrelated to potential lymes disease: instead it is osteoarthritis.

Sept 21. First C6 Peptide test returns negative.

Sept 25th: Right hand joints start hurting.

Oct 24th. Second C6 peptide test returns negative.

Nov 15th......nodules begin to show on right index finger associated with inflammation.

Dec 20th. Right toe begins to hurt.

Jan 5th. Finally look at the hard to see area where the tick bit me. The skin area is red. I don't know if it was always red but the skin area is much redder than other skin on body (but it is in private area so skin is different).

Jan 15th. Shooting pain in my left TMJ joint. Gone now.

Anyt thoughts on this sequence and the probability I have lyme without testing positive would be very welcome.

No, I don't really know what bartonella is. Let me read about it. But, no, there was not test. Just the Lyme C6 Peptide.

You can get a red raised papule at the site of the infection but they usually don't itch.

I think it is possible to receive other infections from ticks in the absence of Borrelia. Getting tested for other tick borne diseases would be a good idea since this all started with a tick bite.

This is a good chart for symptoms, however, there is a LOT of overlap with these infections.
