I’ve been told I have symptoms of Lyme disease. When I was 38 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia
I read here a lady was having itching of nipples, I’ve had this since 2011 . No doc can figure out why. I also have interstitial cystitis which isn’t related and cfs with centralized pain from adhesive arachnoiditis. I’ve read dr Rawls site for healing program that he beat Lyme disease with. I did grow up in mn and moved to ax after I graduated my RN degree. I can no longer work, I’m disabled since 2013 and finally won my ssd in 2016. Most of my pain is from arachnoiditis which I got from getting epidural steroid injections in my back. I do not recommend anyone get these or myelogram. I had back surgery in 2015 to remove a large arachnoid cyst in my upper spine and double laminectomy. I get waves of allodynia which is skin sensations I flush the burn and chill all at the same time. My insides feel like I could actually combust. I can’t tolerate extreme hot or cold temperatures. Please can anyone tell me if this sounds like Lyme. Thank you

Hi Chase, welcome to our community.
i have/had sweating, burning skin, flushing and shivers (not sure if it's considered chills)
- I am cold all the time.
I don't think you want me to list all my symptoms here...I have/had a lot.
But here's a short list: Nerve pain, head pressure, fasciculations, joint pain, short-term memory issues, Bakers' cysts, frozen shoulder, tailbone pain, back pain, neck pain, swollen/tender lymph nodes, weight loss, weakness, foot pain, rib pain, tremors, weakness
I'll stop there...

Yes, those could indeed be symptoms of Lyme disease.
You could do an Igenex WB test IgM and IgG for $250 and see what shows up.

Hi and welcome to our forum Chase269,
Sorry that you are having these issues and symptoms. We have a list of symptoms that you might want to check out. Its on our"New to Lyme"start here thread at the top of the page.
We ask new members to check it out anyway and it has information on Lyme, detoxing, testing and more.
Many members here have Lyme and various co infections.

You can also go to ilads.org and do a physician referral search for your area.

I am cold all the time. I can be lying in bed covered with blankets and still have a body temp of 95-96 degrees. My main symptoms are overwhelming fatigue, inflammation, headaches/migraines, brain fog and eye pain/head pressure that's hard to describe. It's like my eyes are crazy fatigued but I have 20/20 vision most of the time, blurred vision during bad lyme bouts.
You should definitely do the Igenix test to see if you could have lyme. One thing I have learned is this disease has so many symptoms that I feel l like I can attribute just about every health concern I ever have to Lyme because every time I look one up it seems to be a symptom...

Were those symptoms present before your surgery? (The skin sensations/ burn/chills/flushing)
..and why were you getting the epidural steroid injections in your back? To ease the fibromyalgia pain?
