I am looking for some advice, Im currently 4 months into treatment (i think) with minocycline, the first 5 weeks were pure hell and then many of my symptoms lifted. My memory has improved, I can think again. heart palpitations stopped completely and my dizzyness decreased along with the joint pain.
While this improvement was massive for me and allowed me to get back to working a little. I have now gone the next 2 or 3 months with no significant change.
Of course I have better days and worse days but every day I still have some dizzyness and off balance feeling, my joints still ache in the morning and I still get muscle twitches, but the worst symptom is a kind of pressure in my head and behind my eyes that gets worse when I try to concentrate, its also worse when im tired. Im constantly feeling spaced out its difficult to explain.
I want to step up my treatment and have added japanese knotweed building up slowly but have not noticed anything yet.
What would you add next? What ABX would you add? and what herbs? I have only tested positive for lyme but I think coinfections may be at play.
