Doors12 - I checked my list of LLMD's in Arizona and I don't have one listed as a neurologist.

Hopefully someone will be along with a name.


Are you willing to go to a different State? Maybe you'd find one that way.

Hi doors12,

I would try doing a llmd search at ilads.org/ilads_media/physician-referral/

and possibly one might turn up that is a neurologist or you could contact the llmd's that they give you information on and ask them if they know of a Lyme literate neurologist in Arizona.

Girlie, unfortunately travel out of state is not an option right now...

Update: ILADS did not have one in my area...

I am having to stop houttunyia the herx is too severe, I can't deal with the waking at 3am and the anxiety

Can you just scale back the dose...maybe just a couple drops per day?

Have you tried Sida Acuta and/or JK?

Girlie, I'm on sida full dose for many months with no problem but the houttunyia was way strong to me...I can't function on it, the sad thing is I think it was helping but I have too many responsibilities to continue it right now, the insomnia alone has been awe inspiring...

How much houttuynia are you taking?

If it's already a low dose...then maybe just stop it and take Sida Acuta and JK.

I had gotten up to 20 drops but I have now stopped it altogether for about a day and a half, it is scary because I still couldn't sleep last night even with a pharma sleep aid and I can't even nap during the day. I had been having alternating nights of poor sleep and early awakening while on the hty for the past couple months

I am praying that it is a herx that will die down soon and not some kind of more extended immune response that may take longer to go away
