Hoagie - are you still seeing Dr. J? Or do you have new one again.
(Is that who you will be seeing on Wednesday?) I'm wondering if he is the one who said that herxes should be very minimal to none and that it's counterproductive.
I'm not seeing Dr J any longer due to distance and price. My new LLMD wanted me to stay on the current protocol until I see him again and he will assess me from there. He used to work with Dr J when Dr J had a practice in NC. Apparently, they still talk back and forth when he comes up with a case that he needs some advice on. And vice versa. Dr P, my new LLMD, takes a more integrative approach and focuses very heavily on nutrition and detox. He is the one that believes herxes should be very minimal.
I have been going up to Raleigh weekly for nutritional and detox IVs leading up to my follow up next week. His plan was to get a PICC procedure ordered for me and start me out on 2 months of IV treatment. But, we'll see. Maybe I'm supposed to get worse before I get better. That girl from Under Our Skin almost died 3 months in to her treatment. So, I'm not sure if it's good or bad that I get so much worse on the Flagyl.
