Flu like syndrome rifampin

We did have a discussion on that a couple years ago.

It is rare. It has also resulted in renal failure in a few cases. But, it was reversible.


I've not known any forum members that it has happened to.

Well I pulsed Rifampin for several months.


Dr. J pulses ALL his antibiotics including Rifampin.

Is rifampin just as effective when pulsed compared to a daily ingestion?

According to Dr. J it is more effective when dealing with Bartonella. He prescribes all his antibiotics to be pulsed. (But he has devised protocols)

But, not all LLMD"s agree with the pulsing.
