I am taking Dapsone, with tindemax and clarimyocin (not sure of spelling) now. Stress outbreak as usual has caused both ankles to hurt. No swelling butrally hurts. Has anyone here used dapsone?

I know LymeSick is and the last time he posted he said he wasn't feeling well. This was about
a week after he started I believe.
Are you making sure your iron levels are ok throughout treatment?
We are all curious to know how this works for people so please let us know if you see improvement!

Thank you for remembering me NicHostetler.
I have picked it up from the pharmacy but have been feeling too bad to actually take it.
I'm going to take it very soon though. Will keep everyone updated.

Yes I am taking my first blood test tomorrow. This apparently is strong stuff and can cause anemia

bluelyme i've been on bactrim for over 18 months. though its in the sulfonamides class and dapsone is a sulfone they are distinct but similar so hopefully i'll be fine on it.

for the ankles, try dmso, its a fantastic anti inflammatory and pain reliever, works great for joint and tendons.
