I’ve had a low grade fever the last few days, 37.8, I don’t feel like I have a fever but when I take my temperature it says I have.

Is this dangerous? Is this a bad sign? Good sign? Irrelevant?
Should I take anything to lower it if it’s not bothering me?

Not dangerous - as it's barely over the normal body temp.

I don't know if it's a good sign...or not.

Do you know that it just started? Have you been taking your temp every day for weeks/months?

No to be honest I don’t know that it’s just started, I took it randomly as I was taking my sons because he felt warm.
Since I started cryptolepis ans houttuynia a few weeks ago I’ve has new symptoms appear, so it could even be since then.

Bartonella can cause recurring unexplained low grade fever. I've had it off and on for years. If you don't have a cold, flu, or UTI, then I would suspect Bart.

My body temperature rises when I get a herxheimer reaction. . . .

Thank you all, I assume it is bartonella, that’s seems to be causing most of my symptoms at the moment, could also be a herx, I am struggling to increase the houttuynia, I’m on 10 drops twice a day, so could also be herxing, who knows!!

It’s all guess work!

Generally the body temp rising is an immune reaction. Getting a fever is usually a good sign for a chronically ill person. The immune system is starting to work is how I would see it

I have these low grade fevers, and I attribute them to the co-infections (Bart?Babesia?) body is often dysregulated, temperature wise, as well as adrenal system axis (aka HPA axis), and feverish during stress, it could be nerves misfiring and what they call "afternoon fever" which just means unusual fever, par for the course of Co-infections...
