Bransfeild has me terrified!

I was reading some of Bransfeild articles he it seems the outcome for nuero psch Lyme symptoms are not the greatest. I have had alot of the nuero psych involvement and I worry I will be one of the untreated ones

Woodduck - I don't even know who Bransfelid is...I don't think I want to know based on what you reported.


I had plenty of psych symptoms.

Early on - bouts of depression and overwhelming anxiety. So bad, that my husband had to stay home from work a few nights (he was working night shifts).
And after that, he was driving home from work on his lunch break just to see me for 10 minutes and check that I was okay.

My depression is gone...and my anxiety is about 95% gone. I get woken with it in the morning....lasts for a couple of minutes and now and then very minor sometimes during the day/evening for a few minutes.

I also had fear intermittently. Fear that this disease would be with me forever...and fear that I may have something else other than lyme that is untreatable.
I think it was also part of the neuro lyme package. (or bart...or babesia)

There are many examples of people with neuro lyme who have fully healed....try to focus on that if you can... and maybe the ones who didn't heal....stopped treatment too soon.
We don't have all the details..

Is this the video where he says that the outcome for neuro lyme psych symptoms isn't so great?
I went through it quickly and didn't hear anything like that. But, I may have missed it.

I think maybe Woodduck12 is pointing to the neuropsychiatric manifestations of Lyme n Co that Bransfield has witnessed. I think maybe it must have been like being in the mental ward during a Syphilis epidemic.

And I'm with you Girlie I don't think we need to be so fearful and without hope as it may seem.

For a more uplifting outcome...try David Martz' having cured himself of ALS(Lyme) with antibiotics and his research documenting similar success in his treated patients.

You guys are my only support. I also looked into auto immune encephalitis as well. Its crazy how I can be close to my old self some days and then bam I will go a week or more feeling like a lunatic and barley hanging on.

That happens to me too.. but the past several weeks I haven’t been dipping to that low point anymore - hoping I’ve finally turned the corner - hope so.

I’ve had some days where I feel normal - like I used to.

This also affects my hubby - as I’ve always been the spark plug in our relationship/home and me being down and out really changes the landscape here.
