But, as you stated, I get a little comfort in knowing this will pass. But there is always a voice in the back of my head saying, "You are going to devolve into a vegetative state." And I f'n hate that voice!

This board has been a blessing to me in this time and I look forward to the day when I am better and can come here and give hope to those who need it.

The people here are a blessing. I went the Tinidazole route and herxed one or two days only and then it became easier to take. Its hard to say what it did for me.

Have you used any antifungals? How has your doctor responded to you finding that you were inhaling mold or is it too soon to say?

I only began antibiotics after the antihelmintics and following the antifungals.

I have had just about all of your symptoms and then some. Much of it has improved but I threw everything and the kitchen sink at it.

As far as the eyes foreign object feeling is gone and the irritation is gone for now. While carrying the portable HEPA everywhere and sleeping with it the waking discharge that was stubborn has cleared. My eyes are the best they have been in a long time.

However the vision impairments do not seem to get better. I have realized I cant trust my vision while driving and I must double look in each direction before proceeding.

The article you posted is interesting. I'd never had any adverse reaction abx before, until lyme, when I had 'reactions' to both augmentin (before diagnosis) and flagyl (after). According to the article, it seems likely that it was the lyme, not an actual allergic reaction.

If you listen to the article, your body is definitely telling you to take a break. maybe you can start again later with a lower dosage?
