Hi,
I am in a very bad shape lately. My main symptoms: general weakness, head pain/pressure (debilitating, but no real pain), chest pain/tightness, shortness of breath, pain in the small intestines, ear ringing, muscle twitching, sleep problems, ight spots in the eyes, occasional tingling/numbness, cold extremities, chills, and pain-pain-pain (the whole body, muscles, nerves? joints? - scratching and stretching pain), shooting/stabbing pain sensations. Most of these symptoms wax and then wain a bit, but are there almost always (terrible muscle pain, and the pressure headache constantly).
Interesting thing is that when I am in a worsening situation for weeks, and am in a really bad shape with the feeling of dying, and start taking antibiotics (mostly macrolide, and/or tetracycline) the symptoms diminish almost immediately (at first the weekness and flu-like symptoms, then the air hunger/chest pain, and then body pain and insomnia) - it could happen that I feel a bit better already at the day when started taking them. At least as a human being with still lots of pain but not like crap
. Until the end of treatment the flare-ups are smaller and generally the symptoms are mostly manageable, but when I stop taking the ABX the symptoms increase slowly back again. When I e.g. fail the diet, then I am soon again at there when I started. This has going on for years.
The problem is that I am unable to take the antibiotics for a long period as I have these massive small intestinal pains and sooner or later every course of abx ends with terrible pain and I have to stop the medication. Sometimes it is 2week, sometimes it is 5-6. This has been going on for years.
Do you have any idea what could be this? Which organism responds as quickly to abx? Could it be bart, or babesia? When I took rifampicin for 6weeks along with azythromycin I felt initially terrible, then a bit better, but then the debilitating head pressure increased a lot week by week (only for 1-2days, but eventually to a totally unbearable degree) and therefore stopped it.
Oh, and I am sure now that this is not a yeast issue! Altough symptoms increase when I eat sugar/gluten - or triggers a flare-up.
I have been taking buhner core/bart herbs for half a year now. Initially it worked for some degree - at least I did not need to take ABX, but for now it seems it is not enough.
The only thing that I haven't really tried is treating for babesia. Maybe this would be the key, I don't know, but I am afraid a lot as I read that babs treatment causes terrible herxes. As I feel already like dying I am afraid that I would not endure further increase of the symptoms.
Do you think that it could babesia really? And what to expect from a babesia treatment? Herxes for how long? Constant herxes, or sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker? When do usually herx start after starting treatment?
