Anyone have had heart symptoms during rocephin?

No heart issues here on 2g rocephine daily for a couple of weeks. Are you taking a macrolide?
Are you receiving 4g rocephine daily? That's a lot. You could try dialing it down to 2g daily.

I'm doing 4g rocephin. Heart is pretty normal on rocephin. I do have heart symptoms from lyme / co's, but the rocephin doesn't seem to bother it.

4g 4 days on 3 days off. So far been on about 9 weeks.

oh i had A LOT of heart issues when starting antibiotics, mino, especially. 3 years ago.

now on same dose of mino i have no heart issues. why ? because the heart issues were borrelia herx related. now i have low bacterial load so my body does not get as toxic as it used to.

i remember when i first took mino in 2015... oh ... my ... god ... my heart was beating completely abnormal, i felt my head was about to explode, etc... i always thought this was side effects from mino, intracrannial pressure etc...

fast forward to 2018 i am 8 months into mino treatment , with same dosage, i can even take mino ON EMPTY STOMACH, to maximize absorption ... i feel nothing ...

so what i felt in 2015 was a HUGE herx ...

I did? Are you sure it was me?

I know I've posted about the Long QT syndrome with the macrolides but don't recall anything about vaso constriction.

I don't think I knew anything about the Cephalosporins (or macrolides) doing that.

My mind could be drawing a blank...or maybe I quoted someone else?
