Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share my experience at the lifeworks wellness Center. I just arrived yesterday and will begin treatment next week.
I previously sought out a naturopath for help, a few doctors and have done my own research and lifestyle changes which brought me to about 75% recovery after 2 months. I'm hoping to get at least to 80-85% with a few weeks of treatment here to be able to return to work in May.
I will keep this thread updated to share my progress with everyone, in case they are looking to go to this clinic.
So far everyone at the clinic has been amazing. I saw Dr. M who sat with me for an hour reviewing my tests, and speaking about my history. He then did some sort of energy reflex testing which I was questioning a bit at first, until he diagnosed me based on it with a lot of issues I already knew that I have. Maybe it was a coincidence, who knows, but the results seemed to make good sense to me and he basically was able to tell me what was wrong with me within that meeting. Mind you, I also brought a lot of test results with me to my appointment. I would suggest doing this before anywhere you go to try to minimize the costs of re testing.
I was given a six week program and a list of supplements to take. While I was expecting the costs to be around $10000 for the program, I went through and decided to not receive certain treatments they offer and instead stuck to the ones I felt were most important based on my research (I.e. Myers cocktail, ozone treatments, sauna treatments, etc). By doing this, I knocked a lot off my bill. For instance, there was an allergy elimination treatment that I opted out of and that saved me $800. While this may be an issue for lots of people, I personally don't feel like it's something I need to focus on at the moment since I haven't really ever had a reaction to food and have cut the biggest allergens out of my diet already (soy, corn, eggs, dairy, wheat, peanuts).
All in all it has been a good start and I'm excited to keep you all posted!
I also wanted to share a few tips for things that have helped me in the recent past with some symptoms. A couple weeks ago I got a terrible mouth ulcer. I read somewhere this may be viral, so I took a wet licorice root tea bag and held it on my ulcer for as long as I could at different times throughout the day. The next day the pain subsided greatly and by the second day, it was pretty much healed.
This past week I ended up with a shingles like rash on my arm and when I saw Dr. M he said it was herpes simplex virus 1 and asked if I get mouth ulcers too. I laughed and said yes! Makes sense to me now why the licorice root tea bag helped. So I have started putting silver on my rash as well as licorice root tea bag and it seems to be really speeding up the healing process.
I hope this helps anyone struggling with these issues 😊
Blessings
