Twitching above right ear on head

Feels like twitching, is this possible or is it something else??

First time I’ve felt this!

It's possible. I've had very little twitching at all, but some people have it really bad. I wouldn't worry too much.

When I started treating with Buhner's protocols, I got all kinds of new symptoms I didn't remember ever having before. Most of those went away or only show up if I increase doses too fast.

Thank you WBF. smile I am a such a worrier, any new symptom shows up and my mind goes into overdrive. I didn’t even know it was possible for the head muscles to twitch.. then again why wouldn’t it be.

I didn't know it was possible to have a lot of the weird head stuff I've had. When I first started IHA and sida acuta, I'd get electrical pains shooting through my head. It would only last a second, but it sure was freaky.

Later on, I started getting surges of pain that felt like spots in my brain were swelling and bumping into the top of my head. It felt like it would slowly swell and then go back down like a pot of stew on the stove barely hot enough to bubble on top. I'd get burning in my head, too. I hate the head symptoms. They give me a lot of anxiety.

Any muscle can have twitching. I'm assuming that is a muscle behind your ear.



I had a ton of twitching....all over my body...but not behind my ear.

It was fairly early on - within the first 4 months of symptoms starting.

Girlie - what helped with your twitching? I have started taking magnesium but not sure if it’s the right type as I knownthere are a few

I take magnesium glycinate - I was told that one doesn’t cause diarrhea in larger doses


But it didn’t help me,

Lyme treatment resolved them.

Yes i get twitching in head both sides temples cheeks etc all over my body too worse if i eat nuts what i found the gelps id vitamin d but it still happens but not as much and not as long

I get twitching around my ears, like cartilage-y rubbing and light thumping and odd pressure behind the ears.

Sometimes my entire body twitches like I'm reacting athletically to something (was an athlete so...that sorta makes sense).

And my sleep study diagnosed restless leg syndrome, like my legs had to finish doing something right as I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to fall asleep.

Any days I over do it on coffee are worse twitch-wise.

Magnesium may help. I take magnesium citrate, and alternately rub magnesium sulfate on a damp towel cloth while bathing.

Now it's feeling out of it and the lights are too much. Yeah there is a lot of new strange feelings, but not in a good way, more like I must be going crazy now way. Well it's nice when people relate to this, I don't feel so alone in my suffering now.

I was a major twitcher. It haunted me 24/7. Magnesium didn't really help me. antibiotic treatment did.

I think abx are a good idea too, in fact I'm 99% sure it would help. But I'm sorta in-between health care providers now lol :\
