Is This Normal for Lyme?

Hey everyone!

Sorry if I've posted this before, my memory's really bad right now so no idea if I did!

I was diagnosed with Lyme about 3 years ago by my doctor, treated with antibiotics for 3 months, then told I must be better. I don't feel better so I'm pretty positive it's still Lyme but not 100% sure.

Right now a lot of me hurts-- particularly my head and neck, but not like a normal headache. Even my teeth hurt, and my jaw feels really achy. My arms are achy and my fingers hurt. My legs don't hurt today! 😁 But, it just changes depending on the day.

I have a ton of other symptoms too including occasional numbness, my eyes are really sensitive to the light at times, I get joint pain that moves around from one joint to another, I'm nauseous quite often, I eat as much as I can but never seem able to gain weight (I'm right at the border of being underweight). Sometimes the palms of my hands burn.

I faint on occasion but haven't for about a year. The last time I fainted when I woke up half my body was numb, my fingers were clenched tightly together, and I couldn't move them at all for about five minutes. I could feel the pressure of the fingers pressing together and genuinely thought I might break some of them because they were clenched so hard-- I don't think I'm strong enough to clench them that hard on my own, so it was really bizarre and scary!

Does that sound Lyme related to y'all? If it matters, I'm in my 20s.

I'd love any help/advice if you have any! At the moment I've given up on doctors because they've all just given me tons of expensive tests and haven't been able to help at all in the end.

It sounds exactly like what I've been through, so it's probably still Lyme or untreated coinfections.

Nicole - did you have another forum account? You mentioned posting before - but I don't see any other posts before today.

I just checked and it shows the account was created in 2017. Not sure what happened.

You may want to seek out a Lyme Literate MD or NP. They will be able to diagnostics you clinically by symptoms and also note that besides Lyme, ticks carry other co infections .

Since you are still having symptoms you still need treatment . Unfortunately Lyme doesn't always go away .

Many members here use ABX and also many use Herbals, Bee Venom therapy and rife.

Many use combinations of different treatments.
