Feeling like something is stuck in the throat

Does anyone has this feeling? I started to have this symptom after antibiotics treatment. At first at was annoying. For the last 4-5 days it got so much worse. Now I feel like I have broken glass in the upper abdomen and in the area by the heart.

I tried salty water, claritin, lozenges. Nothing seems to work. Yesterday I took omeprazole which calmed down the stomach but not the throat issue. And today I began to experience pain in my left arm. I'm reading that it might be a heart attack and freaking out.

Please reply

Might it just be a thrush infection after antibiotics? I didn't take antifungal medication.

I don't know if this is the same/similar.

I had a sensation of a lump in my throat for many months. And sometimes when I swallowed food, I would feel it lower down...like it was scraping the edges of my esophagus down to my chest area.
Hard to describe.
I believe it was lyme hitting the vagus nerve.

If you're concerned about your heart...go get it checked out. That will give you peace of mind.

Did your upper or lower abdomen hurt? Did it just go on it's own or you treated this symptom?

My left arm is okish now.

No my abdomen didn't hurt. Just above the abdomen did - the chest level.


It got somewhat better even prior to treatment, then resolved with treatment.
