i dont think they will be sold if they were such a danger. i agree some people can have side effects.
but there is a minority and the abx are really great against bart, esp levaquin. especially if u failed other regimens i would not turn away from them out of 'horror of the tendons'...
i looked up the stats once and posted it here. It is like .1 % of people get tendon rupture or something extremely low. Might have been lower than that. I forget.
There are ways to minimize side effects if I understand correctly. Like pulsing and using high dose magnesium.
I always wondered if the tendon issues were actually from a bacteria like bart hiding in the tendons and dying off...
