Personally, I've stopped listening to such things, because:
1. it causes me to get upset
2. it's often impossible to change the minds of those with entrenched/biased beliefs
3. there will always be another person or group to refute
4. it's better to invest the time in myself and my own well-being
5. healing is the ultimate way to 'debunk' them
I do understand getting frustrated by glib folks who have no firsthand experience and who are only talking to others who are similarly biased and stuck in their own echo chamber of incomplete or wrong information. These things can really get me heated and very emotionally upset.
But, in my view, we have to save ourselves first. Then, we can go do all the advocacy work we want. Trying to do so now, while still battling these infections, is like pushing a boulder uphill.
Also, with 7.6 billion people on the planet, there will always be differences of opinion - whether it be Lyme Disease, Diet, Religion, or the endless other topics. So, it might be worth considering how much time and emotional energy one has/wants to invest in such discussions.
Wishing you the healing you rightly deserve, IrishLymie.
